Hi — I’m Jay. Originally from London but now living in Orkney with my wife (an Orcadian) and family, and I’ve decided to teach myself photography one click at a time.
Armed with a DSLR and an open mind, I’m taking photos every day (if I am able to) to hopefully improve at photography. Just learning how to see the world through a lens, and a little imagination.
Why Peedie Pixels? Because “peedie” means small in Orkney — and this project is made up of small, (mostly) daily moments that build something bigger over time.
Some photos will be good. Some will be disasters. But all of them will be real.
