Today’s photo comes from Tankerness. We were out for a drive and I saw the sheep and lambs out playing. I decided I wanted to take a break from landscapes and scenery, and snapped a few shots of sheep. This pic was larger at first, with other lambs in the frame all running toward this lamb. And then they ran off playing. But cropping it like this changed the story and made it seem sadder, which I kind of liked.
I’m trying to work in some shots that don’t just look good, but tell a story or convey an emotion. I am hoping this one did that, even just a little.
