I haven’t posted in a few weeks because I’ve been busy. We took a family trip to Germany, and since being back I have been trying to get everything edited and ready to post. It’s been an uphill struggle with normal day to day routine while also trying to play catch up.
As such I will be posting a few pics a day here (and back dating them to the correct date for display purposes on the main page), and on my socials, until I am all caught up. I have been taking my daily photograph, and as soon as I am all caught up I’ll be back to posting one each day. Barring any circumstances that prevent me doing so, but hopefully they will be few and far between.
Anyway, photo of the day on the 10th of July was a shot of Stromness taken from the viewing area of the Hamnavoe to Scrabster. The first leg of what became a 668mile drive south on Day 1 of our holiday. I like this image because of that pop of red. Had I more experience and skill in Lightroom I would have really upped the vibrancy of this pic. But I’m still happy with the outcome. Maybe I’ll take another pic of this someday and do that.
