Day 35: The Perfect Moment

An arch in Rothenburg ob der Tauber made the perfect frame for a cyclist passing by
Stone met shadow, time held its breath – and in the quiet frame of an arch,
a moment moved gently into view.

We went for a wander around Rothenburg ob der Tauber today. We visited the Christmas Village at Käthe Wohlfahrt. And as a Christmas loving family who go all out when we decorate (too much some will say), we were blown away! It was amazing. I wanted almost everything there. From the giant Nutcracker at the entrance, to the amazing cuckoo clocks! It was well worth the drive here. The place has been truly amazing every second we were there. I cannot wait to come back for another visit.

We also wandered around the town and visited a few places, and this arch captured my attention. I waited for a subject to pass by (thank you whoever you are) and the photo was shot. I wish I had increased shutter speed and lowered the aperture a little, I think that would have helped eliminate the slight blurriness of the subject. But like I keep saying, this journey is a learning one. Mistakes will be made, and hopefully learned from.
